It’s Time to Vape! UWELL AMULET POD SYSTEM Watch Review

Chinese manufacturer Uwell decided to surprise vapers with a new device: Amulet Pod Kit, combining an eGo and a timepiece. This unusual vaping device is fitted with a 10W - 370 mAh battery.

Uwell is a well-known Chinese company that is popular due to its tanks, drip tips, coils, subtanks and parts. Its devices are known best for their quality and maximum safety of vaping.

Uwell manufacturing facilities are located in Shenzhen – one of the global vaping industry centers. Company offers starting kits and battery blocks Nunchaku, Ironfist, as well as atomizers Nunchaku Tank, Valyrian, Crown 3, Fancier RTA & RDA, D2.

UWELL AMULET POD SYSTEM

The producer specifically avoids copying of designs from other companies, trying to create its own unique devices. One of them is world’s first vaping watch Amulet Pod Kit. It looks like a regular fitness bracelet, but allows to enjoy vaping anywhere on the go. It shows time too, of course.

Compact device presented by Uwell this summer is fitted inside the sealed plastic case on the silicon bracelet. Device can be easily attached and removed from the strap using a special button.

AMULET POD SYSTEM: Design

Rectangular vaping kit looks nothing different from the wristwatch – it’s almost impossible to recognize a vaping device if you don’t know where to look. AMULET POD SYSTEM comes only in black, with a dark strap from a soft silicone (adjustable size).

Device also has a display indicating time that can be turned (for the right-handed and left-handed people). The screen works on demand, to save the battery. A special touch button activates the watch.

Special features of Uwell

The physical button for removing a device from the strap is located on the side. The watch shows time, battery life and vaporizer resistance. Although the screen might look a little bit fragile, it scratches easily, which is a disadvantage.

Pod’s edges are round, the tip is visible, and the case assembly is high-quality, without any gaps. Tip also reveals the classic vertical coil. Device has protection against overheating, resistance drops and short circuits.

Cartridge hosts two contacts and a silicone seal closing the refill contact. Device has a traditional cigarette whiff and nice taste feel.
